Fees & Finance

Fees

All fees are correct at the time of going to press.

Examination, accreditation and administration costs are generally included in the course fees - however, some are shown as additional to the course fee and need to be paid on enrolment. Please check the details in each course description.

All exam / accreditation and administration fees are non-refundable as they are passed onto external examining bodies.

Finance & Grant Aid

Students facing financial hardship may be eligible for grant aid towards the cost of tuition, examination fees and / or other costs directly related to the course.

For accredited courses the College receives Learner Support Funding from the SFA. For non-accredited courses the College has it’s own charity BTAS.

The College charity, Bexley Trust for Adult Students, provides grants for learners who are not on accredited courses but have difficulty with the cost of the course or other fees. Students are expected to contribute at least 50% of the costs.

Application forms are available from main centre offices on enrolment. Completed application forms, together with copies of full evidence to support the application, should be submitted within 7 days of enrolling.

Career Development Loans

A Professional and Career Development Loan could help you pay for learning that enhances your job skills or career prospects. It’s a bank loan, so you’ll have to pay it back once you’ve left your course. However, you don’t pay interest for the period when you’re in learning. For more information go to:
