Governors of the College

The Governing Body of the Adult Education College Bexley is formed from: elected staff and student representatives; the Local Authority; Bexley Trust for Adult Students (BTAS); and, independent and co-opted members.

The College has a delegated structure, which means that its Governing Body acts on behalf of Bexley Council to plan and monitor the College’s strategic plan and financial probity. The Governors are also responsible for the direct appointment of senior staff, and for delegating the appointment of other staff to the Senior Management Team.

Governors serve for a period of four (4) years.
